My partner and I booked a pet-friendly room last minute, and the Evergreen was so welcoming and accommodating. The room was so clean, and full of considerate little touches that made our stay so special - and the view from our room was beautiful. It was just the best to be able to bring our dog and feel so cozy and at home for the two nights we stayed (they even had dog bowls and a little treat bag for him, which was so sweet). The oatmeal at the breakfast bar is the best I've ever had (I wish I'd asked for the secret!) and the breakfast scones are unreal. If we ever find ourselves in need of a place to stay in Antigonish again, this will be at the top of our list for sure.

The Antigonish Evergreen Inn is a clean, comfortable, charming place to stay. The rooms have wonderful, personal touches, but the highlight is the homemade breakfast, including absolutely delicious home-baked treats. We stayed in a dog-friendly room, and even the dog treats were homemade. We’ll stay again on our next visit to Antigonish.

Recently spent the night at this charming Inn, can’t say enough about the service by the owner and how they have thought about everything. From robes, slippers in the room to a shoehorn by the back door. Breakfast was great, never have seen an oatmeal bar with so many delicious choices. Definitely would recommend and will go back. Where do get a thank you card on the bed with seeds to plant in your garden from theirs.

This place is a fantastic family-owned motel. The rooms are clean, well-appointed, efficiency motel rooms with lots of nice little touches, including a “heart healthy” breakfast. Quite charming! We stumbled on to the place by luck. Boy are we glad we did.! You will be glad you stayed here, too.

My sisters and I had a lovely stay. The rooms are sweet - great attention to detail. Service was wonderful and breakfast was delicious - we loved the homemade scones and creamy steel cut oatmeal. Thank you so much for the lovely stay!

This was the best place, it is very charming! The rooms are beautiful and they have everything that you would need. Breakfast is also included in your stay and they have the best homemade scones! We loved everything about this place 🥰

I normally don’t write reviews but I found this stay to be a great experience. The owners were so thoughtful and had a lot of little details that made it a welcoming and comfortable place to stay. The breakfast was great and had freshly baked goods and oatmeal with lots of toppings like nuts and coconut. Highly recommend.

Clean rooms, good bathrooms. What more an you ask for.Also had the calm wave channel playing on the TV for us when we came in.Wi-Fi & INTERNET wad excellent.

Quiet location, but a short drive to downtown and the University. Large and fully stocked rooms with great light, and even a laundromat on the premises. Friendly and helpful owners on site. Highly recommended.

Immaculately maintained with many extras like slippers and bathrobes and umbrellas and long shoehorn (my hubby is 6'4" and loves a long shoe horn:)) The breakfast was beyond expectations- the oatmeal is a creamy delight, the homemade blueberry scones a treat, and poached eggs for a nice hit of protein! 4 star service at a 3 star price. Linda the innkeeper is delightful. Highly recommend.

My family and I had rooms here last week while in Antigonish when my father was ill and subsequently passed.The rooms are gorgeous, with full kitchenette and lovely bathroom with plush robes!Very comfy beds and pillows.The complimentary continental+ breakfast is the icing on the cake!

I have no problem giving a 5* review. A small motel strip, this plays out a lot more like a countryside inn.The rooms are well laid out with a spacious bathroom. Well lit and very tastefully done, it made for a very comfortable stay. A live plant(a rarity for staying anywhere due to the commitment of watering), housecoats, slippers, a stove/fridge/microwave, it had all the amenities.You can really tell the owners care and want to provide a positive experience.On a side, make sure you take in the continental breakfast. The owner gets up super early to bake scones, which are amazing! Thank you guys for all your hard work to make our stay special!

This place will warm your heart at the end of a long road. It’s better than a hotel, it’s better than an airbnb, and it’s better than a B&B: it’s like a friend offered you one of their bedrooms. And it’s clean and warm and welcoming. No stress, no fake customer blah blah blah, just genuine hospitality! We left at 5 am and the day before they put a breakfast basket in the fridge for us…go figure, I thought people like these did not exist anymore. 5 stars without any hesitation.

Wonderful family operated business with a soul. The rooms are very clean, spacious and well equipped, including a full stove and oven. Rick and Linda are very welcoming hosts and make you feel at home. We will always stay here every time we come to the North shore. Great experience!
